Sales Manager

NearIT is an innovative startup making personalized content sharing in the right place and at the right moment as easily as possible, thanks to Contextual Mobile Engagement.

We are looking for a qualified Sales Manager to join and strengthen our marketing team.

The candidate may be able to increase new clients acquisition and forge closer relations with already acquired clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success;
  • Develop positive relationships with clients;
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs;
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks;
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner;
  • Supervise account representatives to ensure sales increase;
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions;
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives;
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts);
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Manager;
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience;
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite;
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time;
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude;
  • BSc degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Political Science.

The candidate may have strong interest in Digital Innovation and great teamwork predisposition.

Content & Communication Specialist

We are looking for a professional individual passionate about social media, digital marketing and content writing, who will manage our online and offline presence.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Our Content & Communication Specialist will:

  • Define and create the editorial plan for the social media marketing strategy (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Instagram, Google+, ..);
  • Manage the content on the NearIT official website and other;
  • Manage the Digital Advertising strategy: social, adwords, seo and other adv. for the sites;
  • Keep the blog “alive” and innovative by writing creative, useful and appealing content for users;
  • Analyze and keep updated the texts on the NearIT platform, automated mail communication, Newsletters, etc.
  • Ensures all communication content It is always kept up to date and uses the most advanced social media platforms and digital marketing strategies, in a global scenario (mostly using the English language);
  • Functions as PR and Press Office official representative.
  • Proactively analyzes our market and identifies events and or fairs;
  • Plans, organizes and executes all events where NearIT has a presence “on the field”;
  • Engages with the internal development and web design teams, to share ideas, strategies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience of at least 2/3 years in BtoB companies, preferably on the IT, Digital or Web fields. Experience in other services and/or innovative solutions is also considered;
  • Proven ability to write and create content oriented mainly for BtoB products or services promotion and sales;
  • Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken (Level C1-C2);
  • Degree in Communication Sciences or related;
  • Excellent blogging and social media management skills;
  • Excellent organization and event/fair management skills.

iOS Developer

“You are an experienced iOS developer. Along with developing amazing applications, you also develop our high-end framework.”

We value close attention to detail and code that can be easily improved upon and maintained by others. We also pride ourselves on a strong level of ownership throughout our products. Engineers in this role work closely with both designers and platform engineers and must understand their perspectives, as well as be able to bring new ideas to the table.

The day-to-day

  • Contribute to NearIT SDKs responsible for device registration, notification handling, audience segmentation, and analytics reporting.
  • Working with product and other engineering teams to design new features and public APIs.
  • Creating sample applications that showcase NearIT’s capabilities and allow for end-to-end product testing.
  • Committing your ideas to the product road map

Qualifications

  • Have deep understanding and experience with Objective-C/Swift
  • Track record of developing native iOS apps with excellent UX
  • Knowledge of iOS SDK performance tools and optimization techniques
  • Have client-side testing experience
  • Have worked with common APIs and libraries
  • Have worked with mobile sensors data collection (geolocation, mobile tilting movements, Bluetooth etc.).
  • Have a creative approach to debugging and problem-solving

Bonus points if you’ve already:

  • Be committed to standard engineering methodologies, including automated testing and continuous integration
  • Experience developing location-aware mobile applications
  • Integrated to connected devices via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
  • Developed a SDK or framework.
