IDAYS 2018 arrives in Milan.
It chose NearIT for the second time after the success of the past edition. In fact, in 2017, the event recorded over 200,000 appearances at Monza Park.

Rock meeting in Milan

IDAYS 2018 arrived in Milan, at the Parco Experience (former Expo area), from June the 21st to the 24th, for a four-day totally rock style immersion.

Artists such as The Killers, Liam Gallagher, Richard Ashcroft, Pearl Jam, Stereophonics, Noel Gallagher, Placebo, The Offspring and many others performed on the monumental stage which was 20 meters high and 25 meters wide.

This line-up of excellence attracted over 60,000 appearances only on the second day (the day Pearl Jam performed), going on to fill the 200,000 square meters set up for the occasion.

A unique event of its kind

An event full of concerts but offers so much more.

Yoga classes, market area, test drive area, relaxation area and moments dedicated to sponsors marked the afternoons whilst awaiting the arrival of the artists. In short, a varied offer, suitable for the public that crowded the festival.

NearIT: An important support for the event's organization

This year, NearIT contributed to the success of the IDAYS event by providing its services to the makers of the official app.

Over 2,000 push notifications were sent to awaken the app in anticipation of the actual event at the end of 2017, this was to give a preview of the possibility of purchasing tickets. An active campaign from January to April then announced one by one the artist who would perform on stage.

Thus, NearIT has never abandoned the event, from the event of last June to that of this year, keeping the attention and interest of possible participants high.

A geofence on the Parco Experience allowed us welcome all the participants, while 10 beacons strategically positioned in each of the areas around the stage allowed sponsors and managers of the various activities to send targeted notifications in two languages ​​(Italian and English) to all those who approached the stands.

The reports provided, thanks to the Contextual Mobile Engagement Platform allowed event organizers to bring important results back home through feedback requests sent in-app at the end of each of the 4 days.

In this way it was possible to understand the level of engagement and satisfaction of all the fans present, a fundamental element to start organizing the next edition of IDAYS in the best possible way.
